INGREDIENTS
2lbs.
fresh or 2 cans french style green beans
drained
2 tablespoon of flour
4 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
¼ teaspoon of white pepper
½ teaspoon of instant minced onion
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of grated swiss cheese
1 cup of crushed cornflakes crumbs
DIRECTIONS
In small
sauce pan over medium heat, melt 2
tablespoon of butter, add flour and all
the seasonings. Stir to a smooth paste
and add sour cream, stirring until thick
and bubbly. Mix this with green beans
and pour into a 1½ quart butter baking
dish. Top with cheese, 2 tablespoon
melted butter and cornflakes.
Bake 20
minutes uncovered at 400°.
