INGREDIENTS
5 cups of
shredded red cabbage (1 to 1½"
wide)
5 Slices of Hagberg's Double Smoked
Bacon
2 tablespoon of brown sugar
2 tablespoon of flour
½ cup of water
¼ cup of vinegar
Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
Boil the
cabbage for 7 minutes and drain well.
Fry the bacon and add brown sugar,
flour, water, and vinegar, salt and
pepper. Cook until thickened. Pour over
and mix in to cabbage. Can be made
ahead. Bake until heated through (30
minutes or so).
